Ben Salmon over at The Bulletin ran a piece on us in January 2026, and honestly, we read it a few times just to let it sink in.
What the article couldn't fully capture is how genuinely funny the songwriting shift was for Brian. The workshop led to demos coming in almost faster than Rachelle could respond to them. As the piece puts it, Brian said simply: "I just heard something in them." That's the whole collaboration, really, in seven words.
What you also won't read there is that a lot of the riffs Rachelle sent were things she'd had sitting in notebooks and on voice memos for years. Decades, even. This band became a reason to finally use them. That part still gets us.
The album is close. You all have been asking, and we hear you. The fact that press like this is finding us at all comes back to the rooms you've filled and the word you've passed along. That's not a small thing to us.
